Mandara Rosen is a bright, airy hotel, with 52 air-conditioned rooms including two Suites and four family clusters. Inspired by Tuscan architecture, with terracotta tiled roofs and sweeping verandahs. Lofty white pillars and white washed exterior reflect the sun's rays onto the central swimming pool. High ceilings and decorative armory add charm and history to this bright and airy hotel .

The standard double rooms are approximately 400 sq ft and are well-furnished with twin or double beds, satellite TV with in-house movies, minibar, electronic safety lockers, tea/coffee making facilities and attached bathrooms with hot water showers. Large windows and a predominance of white and terracotta encourage a fresh, cheerful atmosphere.

The swimming pool, with a children's section, is claimed as the largest in the region, with a novel underwater music system. Petal restaurant, offers Sri Lankan and international cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as vegetarian specialties and bar with pool table.
